Description:

3-Isocyanatopropyltrimethoxysilane, also knonw as A-Link 35, GF 40 or KBK 9007, is a commercial silane with isocyanate functionality. It owns the bi-functionality of a reactive isocyanate group and a hydrolysable alkoxy group. The presence of the trimethoxy group makes 3-Isocyanatopropyltrimethoxysilane to hydrolyze rapidly and bond with inorganic materials tightly. Alkoxy groups of isocyanate silanes can hydrolyze to form a reactive silanol group and offer superior adhesion to a wide range of inorganic substrates.
Our 3-Isocyanatopropyltrimethoxysilane can easily react with active hydrogen in organic polymers. The 3-Isocyanatopropyltrimethoxysilane with high functionality can be used as the equivalent of Wacker GENIOSIL GF 40 or Momentive Silquest A-Link 35.
